Just got over a bad cold. I also have asthma and acid reflux. It seems the mucus is coming from my stomach. I am 73 years old.

Hello. Thank you for posting
Coughing up white or gray phlegm is often an indication of an upper respiratory tract infection or sinus congestion. Normally, your sinus doesn't drip, but when there's inflammation, either viral or bacterial, it can cause a drip from your sinus into your throat. A cough after a cold will usually run its course. Since this cough is persistent and you also have other health concerns, it's a good idea to talk to your doctor.
