Hey, I m an extremely cautious person but I did make a mistake in mid december the day after my period ended. I was on birth control but I missed a pill about a week and a half earlier. I have been having periods like clockwork and even got a <0.1 hcg level on january 19 but before that I did get a positive FRER digital result that really freaked me out. I don t have any symptoms other than some bloating that I ve had for the past month or so, but is there any possibility I could be pregnant!?!?! Thanks

Hello Shelbyg1

Getting a positive result is generally accurate as false positives are rare but your hcg result after states you're not pregnant and since you're getting periods, pregnancy is unlikely. You would be heading into your second trimester now if you're pregnant. My advice is to have a blood test done at your doctors office (or a quick scan) to know for sure.
Best,
Susan
