Pregnancy and the pill

I missed 2 pills during the second week of the pack and had sex both days, my period should be here next week wednesday. I had a miscarriage 2 years ago and i am feeling some similiar symptoms like, tender breasts and fatigue. I have calculated that if i am pregnant i will be 3weeks tomorrow, is it too early to test?

Hello Anon,

Thanks for posting. Given that your next period isn't due for another 7 days, it is still too early to test for pregnancy. Even early pregnancy tests can sometimes only pick up the hcg hormone in urine up to 5 days before your missed period. The closer you wait until your period is due, the better. If you can wait until you miss your period, then that would be the best idea-- you may not even have to spend any money on a pregnancy test if you get your period on time.
