Severe foot Pain I had major reconstructive foot surgery on both feet
the first one in 2009 where the screws broke leavingthe bones not to fuse
the second surgery 2011 on the other foot I had a wire break during surgery and it caused nerve damage...I have not been able to walk for 2 yrs without a walking boot or a cast and without pain. June 2012 I had the entrapped nerve taken out on my left foot and now I am suffering worse pain I can not even stand on my feet...Why is it that some football

players have severe injuries and they seem to have surgeons who can get them back on their feet. I am 64 and was very active now I am in constant PAIN and can not walk Can anyone please help me ...Thank you

Hello Anonymous,

I am so sorry to hear about your severe foot pain and unsuccessful surgeries.
I can appreciate your frustration and wonderment about injured athletes and their successful recoveries. So much depends upon the extent of the injury and the expertise of the surgeon.
I do know that injured members of the NY Giants seek treatment at the Hospital for Special Surgery in Manhattan. Top specialists in bone and joint medicine are affiliated with this hospital. It can be all about where you get treated.
