Hi, I have a condition called Hidradenitis and I don't know if the pain I have now is related to this. It's been couple of days I feel deep sharp pain on my right underarm and the pain spreads above my right breast. I'm feeling okay without any problem because of this condition but this pain I have feels like something is pinching my nerve in this area and it's random pain. I keep warm compress on it and I take motrin as I need to but I don't know why the pain keeps coming back. I don't know if I should see my dermatologist for this or my oncologist. My dermatologist diagnosed me with this condition and my oncologist helps me with breast issues. I have pain under my arm and my breast and I don't know who I should go to or just wait out for such thing. It's really painful and I feel stuck like this. Any suggestions please help me with this.

Thanks,
Melissa

Hi Melissa,

I would suggest going to the doctor since you are having pain. I would assume going to see your dermatologist first would be best and follow up with his/her suggestions. Pain associated with any condition should always be followed up with your treating physician.

Hope this helps. Good luck.
