on monday my period ended and i was with my boy friend we had unprotected sex and because i was scared i took the emergency contraceptive. this happened on wednesday again.yesterday night we were both tipsy and i had unprotected sex again and this morning i was so confused because i wasn't sure if i should take another of the pills but i don't want to get pregnant so i took another. i just want you to know if this is very wrong, or if i can develope tolerance to the drug.

thank you, i'm considering taking pills but i have worries about the adverse effects of pills esp weight gain, so i ensure i use condoms for now.

Hi Achiever,
Thank you for your question. You should be fine since you took the two pills although you should really consider an alternative method of birth control. The morning after pills are used as emergency only contraceptives and should not be used for birth control. You can contact your Pharmacist for additional inquiries about the morning after pill you used although, seriously consider another form of birth control method.
