Guide

Bisphosphonates are the most common medications prescribed for osteoporosis treatment. These include Fosamax, Atelvia, Actonel, Boniva, Reclast and Zometa.

But, considering that your bone loss is secondary to cancer treatment, I think you should discuss medication options with your oncologist or radiation oncologist.

Your doctor knows your medical history, current type of cancer treatment and is the best person to advise you.

Best wishes,

Maryann
