Can you tell us more about your symptoms?
1. What muscles are you clenching?
2. What are the triggers to your clenching your muscles?
If you are clenching your muscles literally "all the time", are you experiencing severe stress, or have ever been diagnosed with any emotional distress or mental health condition? If this condition is plaguing your every moment, talking with a psychologist would be recommended.
If you are clenching your muscles from a trigger, such as stressful events or social situations in which you feel anxious, there are specific behavioral treatments that you can try, depending on the severity. These "treatments" include managing the stressful event in more productive way, reframing the stress as a "challenge", using stress reduction techniques (deep breathing, progressive muscle relaxation, yoga, acupuncture), or talking with a psychologist.
Let us know more about your situation, symptoms, triggers and any treatments you have tried, and we can provide more information.
