Niacinamide pads (Niapads) are a safe way to keep acne away during pregnancy,. Niacinamide is also known as Vit B3.

Hi Anon,

Congratulations on your pregnancy!

All of these medications seem to be under the Pregnancy category C drugs which means that you should avoid using any of them during your pregnancy due to possible teratogenic (ability to disturb the development of the baby) effects.

Please call you dermatologist to see if s/he will prescribe something else. Honestly, I know Acne can be disturbing, but nothing matters more than your little one's health. I don't think in any of these meds, that the benefits outweigh the risks.

Best Wishes,

Rosa
