I had unprotected sex 52 hrs ago n again 5-6 hrs ago n then took an i-pill 5 minutes after the intercourse. Will it prevent me from getting pregnant?

Hi anon, Welcome to EmpowHER. If you took it as instructed, it you protect you. You need to wait until your period is due and take a pregnancy test. Any emergency pill can cause changes on your next period. Such as a earlier or later, heavier or lighter period. Thank You :) I took he pill within 5 mins.. That would not let me get pregnant? And do I HAVE to do a pregnancy test?
