last night i went to the toilet around 8 times, this has never happened before, today i feel fine i wouldnt say i have been to urinate a lot today. could you please tell me what this could be?

Hi Louise,
I really don't know what cause this. If you had no other symptoms and it has not happened again, just chalk it up to a random and unexplained thing. Again, if you experience frequent urination persistently, consult your physician.

Did you drink a lot of fluids yesterday? Did you drink more caffeinated drinks, such as cola, coffee or tea? Did you have a few extra alcoholic drinks last night?
Frequent urination may occur after drinking a lot of fluids, especially fluids that contain caffeine or alcohol.
If frequent urination is unexplained or persistent, it can be a symptom of an underlying disease, disorder or condition
