what is the cause of pain inside the breast and redness at the nipple region with a little discharge.am not breastfeeding and am not pregnant and has never been pregnant

Dear rac-heal,

Thanks for posting. Breast pain, discharge, and redness is something that needs to be evaluated by a doctor in person and certain tests need to be done in order for a diagnosis to be given. Please schedule an appointment as soon as possible and please keep us posted.
