I had blood blisters on my gums. They were very painful. I finally got rid of them by swishing salt water, but they are back. And very painful. What causes this?

Hello Anon

Thank you for writing.

There are many reasons for sores or blisters in the mouth including gum disease, canker sores or infections. A poor diet or lack of vitamins in the body can also be a cause. Please visit your dentist.
Best,
Susan
