What Kind Of Problem Is This?

Hi, It's been few days that I have no sensation internally from the middle of my chest close to my stomach and I don't know what to do exactly because of this. I do know that I have ovarian cyst which has been causing me pain and I've been having some stomach problems and I am seeing a GI doctor for this.

What I do know is few days ago because of my parents and sister they get on my nerves a lot and they always make me yell and scream because of them I end up being completely stressed out. The day after I was yelling at them I started having this problem such as not having sensation in my chest and I am feeling a little bit better even though I didn't know what to do because of this feeling. I am seeing a social worker because of them though.

Because of being stressed out and not having much sensation in the area I really don't know what to do because of this. When I take deep breaths I feel better and by some kind of feeling I feel like the area I pintched a nerve. Do you think this is possible? By such feeling I do have some discomfort, nausea and I don't feel the area very much from the inside. Do you think it's something I should see a neurologist, what do you think is best I can do? Please let me know soon.

Thank You,
Melissa

Hi Melissa6666,

I don't see the need to see a neurologist as of yet.  You need to see your GI first and let him know what your symptoms are.  It can be caused by many different things and acid reflux can be one. With the right testing he will be able to give you a diagnose and guide you in finding the right treatment.

Best,

Daisy
