oh yea i skipped 6 or 7 days on my birth control someone said it could be withdrawal bleeding but its not like i just stopped taking them i would like take some a whole week and then i'd forget to take some the next week and it equal up to about 6 or 7 days without taking one in this month . . . .

Hi xoxolovee,

White discharge is normal. If there is no foul odor then you have nothing to worry about.

Does your mom know that you're having sex? It would be ideal if you could sit down with her and talk about what is going on. However, it is important to know whether or not you are pregnant so if you can't bring yourself to talk to her just yet-- you can purchase a pregnancy test at any drug store, many dollar stores, and at grocery stores. You can get the result for that first, and then talk to your mom about it so that she is aware of what's going on in your life. As a parent, the last thing we want is to find out that our child is pregnant when we didn't even know they were having sex. So, if she doesn't know-- please inform her. She is your mom and cares about your well being. The more informed she is, the better she can educate you about sex, STDs, and pregnancy to prevent situations like these from happening again in the future.

Good luck to you,

Hi xoxolovee,

Yes it does matter if you take one pill one day and then skip one the next. In order to achieve full effectiveness of the pill, they should be taken at the same time every day.

Did you take a pregnancy test?

Hi xoxolove,

If you stop taking your birth control pills even if you just stop for a few days, you can certainly have withdrawal bleeding. I'm a little confused as to whether or not you were on your pills the 3 times you had sex? Have you tested for pregnancy lately?

Your symptoms very well could be symptoms of a stomach virus and not necessarily pregnancy so please test for pregnancy and keep us posted.
