Hi i took nordette as ecp before 12 hrs on nov. 5 and another 4 on nov.6. Im waiting for my WB til now. Its been already a week. WHEN CAN I TAKE MY VITAMINS AGAIN? PLEASE HELP

Welcome again to EmpowHER. You can start taking your vitamins at any time. There is no interaction between vitamins and an emergency contraceptive.

Hello Rio,
The only information that I could find was that, "Some substances may increase plasma ethinyl estradiol concentrations. These include:
Competitive inhibitors for sulfation of ethinyl estradiol in the gastrointestinal wall, such as ascorbic acid (vitamin C) and acetaminophen."
So, unless you were taking super high doses of Vitamin C at the same time you took Nordette, taking vitamins is safe and will not effect its effectiveness.

Thanks ms. Maryann. Yesterday i already have my menstruation and its 1st day and it was heavy. What does this mean? Can i drink now my vitamins regularly??

Hello Rio,
Getting your period means you did not become pregnant.
No need to take a pregnancy test.
You can take a daily vitamin and any medications that you have been told by a doctor to take.
