When i bump in to little things that don't even hurt me, i get bruises a day after. Sometimes I don't remember hitting anything but i still get bruises. Do u know why? Is there anything wrong with my blood?

Hi Anon,

Bruising is sometimes common in women in their 20's and 30's. But it might good to see your doctor and do bloodwork to make sure there's no problem with your blood’s ability to clot.

Hi Anon,

Welcome to EmpowHER and thanks for your question.  Some of the causes

  • Aging capillaries. Over time, the tissues supporting these vessels weaken, and capillary walls become more fragile and prone to rupture.
  • Thinning skin. With age, your skin becomes thinner and loses some of the protective fatty layer that helps cushion your blood vessels from injury.
  • And some medications can also cause bruising.
