Why did I just lose my mid range of notes singing?

Thank you for writing.

You may have a throat infection or some kind of damage to your vocal chords (anything from overuse to some sort of virus) that is causing this. Seeing a throat specialist will let you know more. In the meantime, don't strain your voice.
