I wake up during the night to go to the bathroom, and I am not sweating. But I get back in bed and start to sweat.

Hello. Thank you for posting.

Waking up soaked in sweat may be signs of secondary hyperhidrosis -- excessive sweating due to medications or a medical condition. With secondary hyperhidrosis, your sweat glands overreact throughout the body due to medications or a medical condition, producing more sweat than is necessary.
