why is my period late?

My boyfriend and I had sex on Nov 19 and 25. The condom did not break at all, and we are very sure because it has happened before so now he pays close attention to it. And I usually start my period around the first few days of the month and haven't skipped a month In years. I have been extremely stressed about finals coming up and deciding what college to attend once graduating. I took a test and it said I was not pregnant. There was a tiny tiny bit of blood yesterday and there has also been cramps. I know its extremely unlikely that I could be pregnant but am the paranoid type.

Thanks! I am going to take another test in a day or so just for my worries sake. I'm pretty positive I'm not since the chances are super slim. But my mind needs to be put to ease.

Dear Taylorrae,

It sounds like you unknowingly answered your own question. If you took a pregnancy test after missing your period then you are not pregnant. But it sounds like you are very stressed out about college and finals and this can definitely cause a late or missed period. Please keep an eye out for your period and continue to use protection during sex.
