The drug is publicized as easy to use, problem-free and quick which is very very inaccurate I know. It can cause severe bleeding to the point of needing a blood transfusion and even death. It has caused internal injuries to me including rectal damage leading to some incontinence. The clinic who gave me this drug were not interested in my problems after and I felt that money was the main incentive for the clinic at that point - not patient welfare. Years on I still have major health problems due to this drug and have had a big problem getting repair surgery because some doctors are anti-abortion and judge me it seems. It is a nightmare and I wonder how many women suffer with this drug? It may work for some of course but it has risks attached which are not given to the woman using it.

Hi Anonymous
It is true there can be complications. That goes for every drug and every medical procedure. There is always a risk/benefit profile and this should have been explained to you. However, just like every other profession, health care providers do not always do their job 100%, unfortunately.
I am very sorry this happened to you. I can only imagine how upset and frustrated you must be. Thank you for writing and sharing your story with us.
