Had Alluvia shot at CVS phamacy 1-13-2015, in right arm. normal pain and tenderness till 2-7-2015 undressing and experienced shooting pain. First thought I pulled a muscle but pain got relentless and spread through arm exactly as a superficial blood clot I had in left arm Feb of 2014 after 2 stays in hospital with IV meds for severe back pain.I was given phenergen in IV to help with sickness from pain killers which I later found out is a known medicine that causes clots since 1996. I still have pain in the left arm and weakness. Saw Dr Feb 9 sent for ultrasound for possible blood clot which was clear. Saw pain management 2-10 said it could be due to bulging disc. Already on oxycodone and valium for long term back issues, does nothing for the arm pain. Pain management prescribed Voltaren Gel which I am using though pain hasn't let up. Cant comb hair and can only get on button up shirts. This feels exactly like the blood clot pain which is a nightmare. The smallest thing such as pulling a kleenex out of box is so painful I scream. I got the flu shot in right arm thinking I was protecting the left and now since I am right handed I am useless. My son who helped out when I had the blood clot found this site and thinks its from the flu shot. Read so many comments that are exactly what I have been experiencing. Going to try couple of suggestions Ive read. Just really wanted to point out the pain is the same as the superficial blood clot though scan came back clear.
