I live in government housing. My 6 yr old and I live alone and really like our apt. My neighbor above me is the president over housing's son. His son seems to be nice when you speak to him and was normal in the beginning. Now he torments us in the night with loud bangs, stomps, yelling, blasting his TV. I finally went to the housing office about it and they said there is nothing they can do. It would be discrimination if they made him move. Told me basically deal with it. I did until one night he was trying to bust down my front door out of his head violently yelling and banging. I called 911 the cops came and said if he has a mental illness there is really nothing they can do about it. Until he harms himself or others their hands are tied. I have PTSD from being violently beaten by an ex and left for dead. This has triggered my PTSD in many ways than one. What about my disability? What about my rights? My right to live in safe peaceful place without the fear of falling to sleep and something happening? I am going crazy. Any ideas?
