So I had what I thought was protected sex on aug 26th. (condom slipped off and basically a lot of sperm got inside of me) I was in the peak of my ovulation at that time(reason for the condom) and I mean I was in that 48 hour window, mucus and all signs.
5 hours later I buy the Next Choice pills and take my first and wait the 12 hours and take the other.
Now my next period is due right around Sept. 9th of this month. Usually my periods are on time or a day early/late. Been tracking them for months.

Hi Cyia,
Thank you for your question and welcome to EmpowHer. We receive many many many questions about possible pregnancies and/or "why is this happening to my period after taking Next Choice/Plan B." Luckily, we do ask many of our readers to respond with the outcome. The outcome is always negative in my experience and I have been responding to questions for several years now.
The reality of having sexual intercourse is that you always have that chance of pregnancy. If you did not take Plan B/Next Choice, I would say that your chances are sky high for a possible pregnancy. Fortunately, you used a back up method which is what it is for and therefore, you have a good chance of NOT being pregnant.
As we always ask to please let us know, I will ask you the same. Be aware that you will experience irregular periods for your next couple cycles as this has been a commonality with using Plan B/Next Choice. Time will only allow for the correct answer to the most commonly asked question, "Am I pregnant?" What until you miss a period and then take a pregnancy test to ascertain the results. You should try a test around September 15th (ish). Again, please keep us updated and I wish you luck.
Missie
