Since, March 20, 2017, I started having burning, itching and rash develop on my vulva. For a month, I treated it for yeast infection. But, finally in the second month on May 3rd, I went to my OBGYN, he said that I had vulva dystrophy. He recommended using a cap-ful of clorax in a wet wash cloth and sitting on it for 15 minutes 3 times a day and he prescribed clobetasol propionate ointment for infected areas.
This recommendation that he gave me did not fully treat the problem. So, I went a week ago to Rite-Aide to the section where you buy products related to poison ivy, oak, sumac and rashes. I found this amazing product called, "DOMEBORO" a soothing soak that was developed by a plastic surgeon 50 years ago. Domeboro is an astringent solution that sooths, fast, effective relief of skin irritations due to rash & blistering and reduces redness and aids healing. It comes in powder packets that you mix in 16 oz of water and soak your wash cloth and sit on it for 15 minutes 3 times a day. It cost around $14.00. Also, DOMEBORO makes a cooling gel to help sooth the area and treats the affected area.
The GOOD NEWS is that he told me that I was 95% well by using DOMEBORO. I do hope you will try it. I feel like a different woman and I wanted to share this to those who are suffering with this problem. He did tell me that it may return but to have some packets available if it did. Good luck !!! May the peace of the Lord be with you!!
