Jamie Anderson, a 22-year-old professional slopestyle snowboarder, is the perfect combination of confidence and self-assurance without a hint of narcissism.

The six-time X Games medalist and Olympic hopeful recently sat down with EmpowHER to discuss her Olympic dreams and training habits, and inspire everyone to do what they love.

Anderson is one of the top-ranked female snowboard slopestyle riders, a sport debuting for the first time in the 2014 Olympics in Sochi, Russia. As one of eight siblings, Anderson became an expert at friendly competition both on and off the slopes.

Anderson has teamed up with Nintendo Wii U to let everyone experience a bit of Olympic magic.

Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games for Wii U is a a new game showcasing the awesome tricks, jumps and competitive spirit that the Winter Olympics are known for.

Those who can’t hit the slopes this winter, or score a ticket to the 2014 Winter Olympics, can let Jamie Anderson school them using the Wii U.

Fans of Mario and Sonic can team up or face off as their favorite characters in the new Wii U game, which re-creates realistic Olympic events such as curling, skiing, figure skating and even snowboard slopestyle.

Players also can perform moves not possible in real life, such as the Winter Sports Champion Race, a mixed event that combines skiing, snowboarding, skating and bobsleigh in a single event.
