After the age of forty, it's a good idea to start strength training. Around that time, we women can begin to experience a loss of bone density and reduced muscle mass. To replace this reduced muscle mass we get fat. Loss of bone density makes our bones subject to fracture.

If you make the decision to start strength training, you may find that it will ultimately take ten years or more off your real age. It will make you stronger and give you better bones. Your muscles will become toned without becoming bulky.

"Ladies, if you haven’t started strength training yet, let me suggest to you that you should start. Make it your goal to reduce the aging process that you experience by 10 years. If you aren’t sure how to get started and what to do, hire a trainer for 3 months. I did and it made a world of difference and helped to get me off on the right foot. I haven’t look back since!"
