Women everywhere (and men too) constantly look to the rich and famous for tips for staying thin and beautiful.

For the most part, celebrity women seem to always have tiny waists, thin thighs, flab-free arms and perky behinds. In short, generally bodies many women envy.

So it comes as no surprise that celebrities are often in the spotlight when it comes to new and unusual fitness trends. People want to know what helps them to look so good, hoping that same routine will work for them.

While doing the same routine as a star might not result in the same body, it can be a way to refresh a stale workout, provide additional motivation, and even burn more calories.

So what kind of fitness routines do the beautiful celebrities that grace magazine covers, television shows and movie screens actually do?

Check out four of them below:

1. SoulCycle

Morning show host Kelly Ripa is a big fan of this spin-off of the typical stationary bike spin class. The full body toning class is 45 minutes of heart-pounding cardio with positive affirmations thrown in to make the person working out feel empowered and unstoppable.

Each class can burn up to 700 calories but are only available in select cities on the East and West coasts right now.

2. Barre class

Actress Zooey Deschanel loves this ballet-focused class which targets legs, butt, and abdominal muscles. The beauty of this class is that it creates a dancer's body by using micro-movements and burns 400-500 calories per hour class.

The upper body is targeted by incorporating weights or a weighted ball. The class is offered at high-end gyms throughout the country.

3. Barry's Bootcamp

For anyone who wants to burn a ton of calories, this workout is great. Katie Holmes is a big fan of this hard-core hour long class that incorporates treadmill intervals and strength training. This Bootcamp will burn up to 1000 calories and is available in the United States in New York, California, and Nashville.

4. Bikram Yoga

Model and actress Rebecca Romijn credits these hot yoga classes with losing more than 60lbs she'd gained while pregnant with twins. Bikram yoga is not for the faint of heart, though.

It combines traditional yoga moves with a studio heated to 105 degrees. The classes are often 90 minutes and help the participant detoxify while providing bursts of energy from the deep breathing.
