Guess what ladies? Men are people too, just like you. Mood is a coalescence of many co-factors, including, but not limited to, time of day, what he ate today, what he drank today, exercise, hormonal balance, sleep pattern, self-esteem, weight, your time of the month, your self-esteem and season of the year, oh yes also, "When did you make love to him last?"

Regarding nutritional factors, too many carbs and simple ones are the worst (candy, cookies, soda, etc.), cause a reactive hypoglycemia by triggering too much insulin, too fast. Ya know what they say now ladies, "If a man is moody and he's just had sex. Feed him!" and.."If he's moody and not hungry, then, have sex with him." This is actually pan-culture and is a pretty predictable formula for success, proven time after time, after time...

It used to be believed that three meals a day, well-balanced, was just the right formula, but.....
I think that frequent small meals, of the right balance, don't forget the snack stuff (raw roasted almonds, cashews, peanuts, unsalted of course (ok maybe just a pinch), jerky (beef, turkey, fish), great source of protein, practically zero carbs, practically zero fat and protein bars are a quick boost in energy and MOOD! Oh, don't forget adequate hydration. His body, as well as yours, is craving water, not soda, when thirsty!!

Skipping meals in an attempt to lose weight hardly ever works, causes hills and valleys of sugar levels (and MOOD). YOU CAN'T, " FOOL YOUR BODY!"

Winter is popular time to purge the pounds and follow the oft-times New Year's resolutions, but ya can't FOOL MOTHER NATURE, either. Humans, oh yes, don't forget, us guys are supposedly HUMAN TOO, are prone, maybe not quite as much as you ladies, to pack on a few extra pounds over the winter(more than just understandably due to holiday fiestas and office snacky-poo stuff,). "Would you like a piece of my birthday cake?" Anthropologically speaking, we are programmed, women more so, instinctively, to prepare for the long, cold winter. Women had to feed and nurture the clan, gather the fruits and berries, while "hero boy" was out on the tundra hunting sabre tooth meat and other delectable fireside treats.

The fat (there's good and bad stored) is a safety measure for what may be unpredictable, with respect to availability of food out in the tundra and hills. Without that extra body weight, heat conservation, keeping "Bam Bam" warm next to your bod', milk production, and general well-being are greatly compromised, not to mention, "Honey, Uh, what took you so long to come back from the hunting trip this time?"

Something to Nibble on, Eh?
