Fatigue, Adrenals and Hot Flashes

Rate This

My body was having a hard time regulating my body temperature because the adrenals were stressed. I have noticed if I start slacking on my supplements, the hot flashes try to come back.

So many people I know have worn their adrenals out. It has been the American way. We may sometimes get to a point in life where we are not living that stressful industrial nation life but we have to build those adrenals back up to function with any sort of energy.

If you are fatigued, tired, low energy and/or have hot flashes and can't sleep, you may want to check your adrenals. There is testing for adrenals and if they are low there are many sources to get good- quality supplements for bringing your adrenal levels back up where they should be.

Adrenal fatigue is a hormone imbalance many women and men suffer from. When we feel stressed, the adrenals release an increased amount of cortisol. This leads to problems such as fatigue, loss of libido, and depression. However, we believe that with a combination of bioidentical hormone therapy and a customized nutrition and fitness program, you can start to feel back to yourself and better than ever in no time. Thank you for contributing your experience to this message. The way that so many people live these days makes them a candidate for draining their adrenals. I am glad I found out about it before I got the the point of complete fatigue.

"Blowing" one's adrenals from stress is a serious risk most people never think about. Stressing one's system to this degree can lead to Chronic Fatigue and various neurological issues. Apart from maintaining a regular and healthy diet, getting plenty of rest (and plenty of exercise) taking extra vitamin b's, c's, and a total EFA supplement is essential when running at break-neck speed. Also, I would say that nothing works better than acupuncture and Chinese herbs to clear stagnant liver chi (ie. adrenal overload). Having experienced this myself, finally hitting the wall is not a pleasurable experience, but I learned a valuable lesson and will never again take my health for granted and allow anything to jeopardize my wellbeing to this degree.
