A February study by the American Academy of Neurology discovered that lower levels of key anti-inflammatory and antioxidant nutrients were found in women with multiple sclerosis. In comparison, women without the condition, had much higher levels.

Nearly 400,000 people in the United States are affected by MS, Medical News Today said. Researchers involved in the study hope these findings will help in the development of prevention and treatment methods of the condition.
