Started more than 25 years ago, 24 Hour Fitness says they have “dedicated themselves to helping people like you live life to the fullest.” The company states one of reasons they call themselves 24 Hour Fitness is that “We believe one hour per day in the gym or health club can positively affect the other 23.”

Another reason is 24 Hour Access to more than 400 clubs nationwide. Prospective members can try out 24 Hour Fitness for free for three days. The company says they “welcome people of all shapes and sizes – with fitness goals big and small.”

“Membership dues range between $19.99-$89.99 per month, depending on club location and type.” Members can choose the type of club and membership that suits their needs with specific features and levels of access. Those membership/club types include the highest level Ultra Sport, then Super Sport, Sport, and finally the lowest level, Active/Express/FitLite. Short-term or month-to-month memberships are available without a long-term commitment.

Clubs include “state-of-the-art equipment, cardio and resistance training, online nutrition, high-energy Group exercise classes, and guidance from our staff of more than 4,000 certified personal trainers nationwide.”

Additional health club type amenities also include other leisure sports such as basketball, swimming in the heated lap pools, volleyball and racquetball. Spa like services and facilities such as massage, saunas, steam rooms, and whirlpools are also available.
