Being the new mother or father of a brand new baby can be a nerve-wracking business. I mean, how do you even know if things look right?

And, what if they don't?

For instance. Let's say your precious treasure has a rash that looks like flea bites. Is she normal? Is it safe? Yes, and yes.

What if your bouncing baby boy has got ... baby breasts? Is he doomed to be heckled by his friends and avoided by potential girl friends? No, and no. This is just a little hormonal glitch that will clear itself up shortly.

"Babies will often have molding of their skull from the birth process. The infant's skull was designed to contort in order to fit through the birth canal, and it will often retain an unusual shape for the first week or two of life. Likewise, a vacuum extraction will almost always lead to impressive swelling and sometimes bruising of the head."

Many new infants go through an early stage of having a face (or legs, or skin or...) that only a mother (and father) could love. Ominous sounding, I'll grant you. But it's all perfectly normal.
