I became very curious one day when I went to the grocery store. I noticed all these new drinks that provide vitamins, electrolytes and seemed appealing. What is the difference I thought?
There is Vitamin Water, there is Life Water and then Gatorade, the drink of champions! We all know the commercials....
We are all told to watch our calorie intake, right? So, I looked at the percentages on the bottles of these drinks and found that most are 50 calories. Oops, wait, 50 calories per serving....there are 2.5 servings per bottle. WOW! Did you know how many calories are in a can of soda? 150!
Vitamin water is fortified with various vitamins and other additives, including a sweetener that adds calories to the drink. I have decided, if you don't care for plain water, try 'bubbly' water or a hint of lemon or cranberry juice in your water. Less calories!!!
