It's amazing to think about how mp3s, iPods and cell phones that do it all are changing our lives.
I take my ipod to the gym, for the music. It's so much fun to have a set of music that I love to work out to. But I recently stumbled upon a
couple of sites where you can actually download the workouts themselves to your ipod. Some are free; others you buy, and they are updated regularly.
Here is a page of downloadable workouts to try. You get a video of the exercises and a slideshow of the workouts:

I'm eager to try this. I'm not the type to have a personal trainer (though I wish I was in the income bracket to try, LOL) but I often would like to use some of the machines or the weights in the gym that I'm not familiar with. I'm hoping that with some of the instruction on these workouts, I'll be able to watch them in action and know how to try them myself.
That's just one source; if you google "ipod" and "workouts," many pages come up, all with different focuses and for different abilities. You can focus on your abs or your cardio; work on strength training or yoga. I'm going to think of it as my pocket personal trainer. I'll let you know how it goes!
