My husband who is in his 60s was recently admitted to the hospital.
His discharge sheet has him with COPD, Exaccerbation, CHF and Acute Kidney Failure. He is on several medications including Norvasc, Ecotrin 325 MG Daily (no Coumidin as he almost bled out from that stuff 2 yrs ago), Toprol XL, Prednisone, Flomax and Thiamine
He is to have a Renal Function Panel this Friday. They have him on a "Regular Diet" but have told me to limit the potassium and sodium intake in his foods.
Can you tell me about the latest treatments for these conditions? Thanks.
