I am only 12 going on 13. and i want to start using tampons because well tonight im going to a swimming party and i cant use a pad. i have had my periond since last year. and my mom has been trying to help me. but it seems to be too long? and i cant put it all the way in. i have to admit i am scared. i dont wanna hurt myself or get tss. but is it safe to cut is in half? could the string possibly fall out and the cotton get stuck? help me please i need some advice.
