Could I be pregnant if I got my period 10 days after having sex but didn't get it the next month?

I had unprotected sex on March 28th. I got my period on April 7th and it lasted the regular length of time, about a week. Now its March 12 and I am a week late. I am also on time so I was wondering if there was a chance I could be pregnant before I go out and buy tests or make a doctors appointment.
