After undergoing surgery to excise a Urethral Diverticulum over a year ago, my 20 year old daughter, a vibrant athlete, has had numerous trips to the hospital with severe pain. They have finally diagnosed it as Chronic Pelvic Pain Syndrome for which, it seems, the only effective way to deal with it (so they say) is through pain management and physical therapy. It is debilitating and quite painful, driven by anxiety, it seems.
