My boyfriend became an alcoholic around age 17. We began dating when he was about 21, I was 18. Throughout the first 6 - 8 months of our relationship he made great improvement on cutting back on his drinking. Although he insisted he did not need to see a consular I tried to encourage him. My encouragement was a failure. However, as I said, he did improve so what more could I ask for? Of course I was worried about his physical and mental health but I felt like there was nothing more I could do than be supportive of his improvements. Unfortunately over the last few months it seems the depression, and alcoholism is back. We just moved in together and I am now realizing how bad it really is. He has mentioned going to see a consular so I am hoping that will become the next step. But why I am writing this post is more in regards to me. I am a 19 year old female who has been having sex for the last few years. This is the longest I have gone without having sex in a few years. I have been dreaming of sex almost every night. At first it was only sex with my boyfriend but now it seems more and more to be with others. In previous relationships I have cheated on my boyfriends. I DO NOT want to do that in this relationship.. however the lack of sex is really starting to wear on me. What can I do? Thanks!
