I am 54 years 4 months now. My period stopped for 2 months but resume on a monthly basis (4 months now)after Doctor put me on HRT. I went for Angiogram(no blockage) in 2001 and since then on Highblood pressure medication (currently on boderline). My palpitation problem is something of an on an off but not really that serious until last year in July 2008 when i fainted for severe palpitation, fatigue but i blamed it for over stress because i was very busy with the moving into a new house. Went to see my usual doctor and was given palpitation tablet (propranolol 40mg). Now my situation is getting worst, seems i am having this problem very frequently and really hampered my movement due to getting tired easily and the irregular beating of my heart really is a discomfort(not much of chest pain). I am a very active person and never like to sit doing nothing. I drink instant coffee (1 cup daily but not a routine stuff sometime 2 days one cup depending on my mood). I dont smoke or consume alcohol. My mother is a stroke patient (still surviving), and my auntie (mum sister) has a heart peroblem.
Everytime i fall sick, such as flu, fever my palpitation gets worst. Two days ago i ate someting that caused some kind of food posioning and my palpitation really got very bad that i only lie in bad too tired to move around.
Please help....
