I have had multiple kidney stones, and now have a blocked ureter resulting in unilateral hydronephrosis, I am not getting sufficient information about breast feeding during this time. I am currently pumping and dumping my breast milk until I recieve the ok to nurse my newborn baby again. The baby is healthy, and is now being supplemented with formula. Are there any tests that can be done to check the safety of my breastmilk, so that instead of dumping it I could be feeding it to my baby?
