Actress Brittany Murphy’s death was apparently caused by a mix of pneumonia, iron deficiency and ‘multiple drug’ intoxication, the Los Angeles County coroner said Thursday.
The 32-year-old died on December 20 in her Hollywood Hills, Calif., home.
Murphy’s husband told People magazine that she had flu-like symptoms and was taking Vicoprofen for pain from menstrual cramps, CNN reports.
Murphy was known for her work in a string of comedies including “Uptown Girls.”
