First time that my period has not come on time

I have had very regular periods so far. This month however it has been more than 35 days and have not had my period. Had a bit of spotting around the time when i was due (noticed it when i passed urine and wiped myself). Not under unusual stress or any medicine except multivitamin. Can you help on what could be the problem
