Dr. Paul Song is a radiation oncologist who sees women from all over the country. One way Dr. Song and his associates use radiation is via external beam radiation which works with an invisible beam of energy to treat tumors.
A second method is to apply radiation directly to the tumor through brachytherapy by placing radioactive isotopes within or near the tumor bed.
The third method is to inject a radioactive isotope in order to treat lymphomas and liver tumors.
