I've been plagued by the idea that I may have aneurysm for years, but now I suspect it might be hypertension.
I have these issues about my neck. Sometimes I feel sudden stiffness and severe pain in my neck, like the veins inside are twisting and clenching tightly together. It's been totally random years ago, but just recently I had "attacks" with alarming patterns. Once, it happened while I was very angry and frustrated, listening to loud music. Then, it also happened as I was in P.E class, doing exercises under the hot afternoon sun.
I don't think I know much risk factors out there that will support that, though. I'm young, and only couple or so of my many relatives have hypertension. Yes, I'm fat, but at 5 feet 2 inches and 132 pounds, I still hang by the thread on the normal classification according to BMI. I do eat some fatty foods, but it's not like I eat in monster proportions (in fact, lots of my slim friends digest twice as much fat and calories as I do, and I swear I exercise more than they do too). Neither my mom or dad have hypertension issues, but my grandfather and grandmother do have heart disease (but I don't think that's significantly relevant anyway).
Thank you for your time and more power!
