Scientific advisers for the World Health Organization (WHO) on the swine flu or H1N1 influenza pandemic were tied closely to manufacturers of vaccines and anitiviral medications. This had not been made public knowledge.
A report from the Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly questioned the actions of the World Health Organization concerning the H1N1 influenza pandemic.
"An official Council of Europe inquiry led by Paul Flynn , a British member of parliament, concluded that the 'Parliamentary Assembly is alarmed about the way in which the H1N1 influenza pandemic has been handled, not only by the World Health Organization (WHO), but also by the competent health authorities at the level of the European Union and at national level.' "
Flynn said that WHO had wasted enormous amounts of the public's money and had raised fears concerning public health that were unnecessary. This had a negative effect on the people of Europe.
Dr. Henry Miller is a bio technology expert for the Hoover Institution at Stanford University. He believes WHO made several errors, and that they should not have declared a pandemic.
