I have a history of GERD and IBS symptoms (not diagnosed). I've had my gallbladder removed (aprox. 7 months ago). I woke up one day with pain in my left flank. Also felt bloated and nauseous. Pain increased all day until I finally took pain meds and it gradually went away. I also drank lots of water. I ate a danish two days before this episode. Can it have caused this pain? I've been fine since the surgery as long as I don't overeat or eat too much fat.
