Trimspa is a brand of weight loss supplements that are supposed to help us lose weight. As is the case with just about every weight loss pill, powder, drink, or formula, the literature suggests that people who use the Trimspa supplements also follow a healthy diet and a regular exercise program.
Just once, I’d love to see a diet supplement company advise us to take its product in combination with a steady supply of Big Macs and hours spent pushing buttons on the remote control. But I suppose that won’t be happening anytime soon.
According to the Dietspotlight’s website, a site that reviews different weight loss products, there are seven different Trimspa products, including Trimspa Energy, Weight Loss Chocolate Hoodia Supplement, and Advanced Trimspa. The main active ingredients found in the Trimspa line include hoodia gordonii, green tea extract, and caffeine. Generally speaking, these ingredients are supposed to help people lose weight by suppressing hunger and making users less likely to want to eat during the day. The Trimspa website claims that most people who take these supplements lose about four to seven pounds a week.
I’ve researched hoodia gordonii before for other articles, and studies do show that it can help people lose weight, so at least one of the Trimspa ingredients seems to come with some science backing it up. The question you’d want to ask yourself is if you want to combine your hoodia with the caffeine and other ingredients, and if you want to spend the money to get all of the products from the Trimspa company. As you may recall, Anna Nicole Smith advertised Trimspa before her death—she claimed the product helped her slim down from her previous zaftig proportions to a much thinner size. But if you want to try Trimspa yourself, it’s probably a good idea to really research the products and ingredients before spending your hard-earned money.
Dietspotlight suggested that Trimspa has three key advantages: you can get it without a doctor’s prescription, both men and women can take them, and they are all easy to purchase through the Trimspa website.
Disadvantages are a bit more plentiful and meaty: Trimspa contains caffeine, which has been shown to cause water to leave the muscles, it does not come with a money-back guarantee, there’s not a lot of information about the company that makes these supplements, some ingredients in Trimspa might not agree with everyone, and there are no free trial samples available through the website. Another website, Diets In Review, said in an article that Trimspa does not come with enough scientific backing to prove its effectiveness, and that it may cause side effects like high blood pressure and migraine headaches.
