In the past two years I have stopped producing underarm body odor. Can anyone tell me why?

I went through menopause seven years ago and notice two years ago that I could stop using an antiperspirant without any offensive underarm odor. I sweat like mad; water dripping off the end of my nose; soaking my shirt, my underpants and my shorts. I am not complaining, just curious.
